Implementation of CPFTA's second phase reflects everlasting Pak-China ties: Firdous
Islamabad: Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan has said the implementation of second phase of China-Pakistan Free Trade Agreement (CPFTA) reflects the everlasting relationship between Pakistan and China.

She took to twitter to share that this agreement will enable Pakistani traders to export their products in Chinese markets on zero duty.

“The country's textile sector along with those producing agriculture, leather products and confectionary items and biscuits will benefit the most under this agreement,” she said.

Dr. Firdous added that through this agreement, Pakistani traders will get the opportunity to export 313 new products to the Chinese markets.

She stated that in the first phase of FTA, Pakistan was benefitting from zero rated facility on seven hundred and forty two products.

“Pakistan is benefiting from zero duty exemption on export of 742 products under the first phase of free trade agreement and will be allowed to export 1047 products after implementation of the second phase,” she said.
