Islamabad administration extends business hours for shopping malls, markets
Islamabad: The Islamabad administration has announced to extend the working hours of shopping malls and markets from 5pm to 10pm.

According to details, all markets have been allowed to operate till 10pm from today ahead of Eidul Fitr.

Earlier, Punjab government had announced to increase business hours of markets and shopping malls in wake of festival of Eid.

The announcement was made by Punjab Minister for Industries and Trade Mian Aslam Iqbal, who said that all markets in the province will remain open till 10:00 pm from Friday.

The number of confirmed coronavirus cases surged to 52,437 in Pakistan on Saturday, while the death toll stands at 1101.

According to National Command and Control Center (NCOC), more than 1,743 cases of coronavirus were reported while 34 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours.

As many as 16,653 patients have recovered from the disease, while the country is still witnessing a consistent rise in the COVID-19 cases.

As per details, 21 percent of the cases have foreign travel history while 79 percent of the cases are reported to be locally transmitted.
