Asad Umar hints at opening wedding halls, restaurants after Eid-ul-Azha
Islamabad: Federal Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar hinted at opening wedding halls and restaurants after Eid-ul-Azha, GNN reported.

According to details, a delegation of All Pakistan Wedding and Restaurants called on Federal Minister Asad Umar.

The delegation was represented by Khalid Ayub, Habibullah and others while in the meeting the delegation requested to open marriage halls and restaurants with standard operating procedures (SOPs).

The federal minister hinted at opening wedding halls and restaurants after Eid and said that the matter will be reviewed again at the National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC) meeting after Eid.

It is pertinent to remember that the number of confirmed coronavirus cases surged to 275,225 in Pakistan on Tuesday, while the death toll stands at 5865.

According to National Command and Control Center (NCOC), more than 936 cases of coronavirus were reported while 23 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours.

As many as 242,436 patients have recovered from the disease, while the country is still witnessing a consistent rise in the COVID-19 cases.
