Pakistan receives another $1 bln from UAE
Karachi: Pakistan’s foreign exchange reserves on Tuesday soared to $15.96 billion mark as United Arab Emirates (UAE) transferred another $1 billion to State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).

As per details garnered, UAE has transferred $2 bln thus far. The volume of the total package is $3 bln.

“#Govt. of Pak multipronged #strategy & credible measures for #financing arrangements yielding results. $1 bn deposit received from #UAE to help further #BOP stability and ensure smooth int’l foreign payment obligations, while shoring up foreign exchange #reserves”, tweeted advisor and spokesperson Finance Division, Ministry of Finance, Khaqan Hassan Najeeb.

It is worth here to mention that Pakistan has already received $1 bln from UAE back then in January-2019.
