Remains of another child found in Chunian
Chunian: Police has recovered remains of another child from the industrial area of Kasur’s Chunian, GNN reported.

According to police sources, remains could be of Amir Hamza, another missing child in Chunian, however, the identity would be confirmed after DNA test.

Police is unable to capture the culprit who is on run since two weeks now.

Police had earlier recovered the bodies of four missing children who were kidnapped and brutally murdered in Chunian. The bodies were identified as Faizan, Ali Husnain, Salman and Imran.

The remains of three children, who were reported missing, were found on September 17 from Chunian. Later the police confirmed that all three were brutally raped before being murdered and buried underground.

After DNA tests, one of the victims was identified as 8-year-old Faizan. Identities of the other two children were also confirmed after the process of DNA tests.

On September 24, DPO confirmed that they had found the body of Imran as well. Imran’s clothes were found one and half kilometer away from the site of incident, DPO said.

Back then in Jan 2018, six-year-old Zainab Ansari—on her way to a Quran recital—was abducted from Kasur by her neighbor. The minor rape and murder incited countrywide outrage and protests while members of civil society demanded stern legislation to save the vulnerable children from sexual predators.

Kasur has repeatedly garnered international eyeballs for recurring incidents of child sexual abuse in recent years.
