Peshawar: Two including a woman were killed while two others were injured after a cylinder installed in a vehicle exploded at a gas station on Charsada road, GNN reported.

According to details, the explosion happened as a car was getting its CNG tank refilled at the fuel station.

The car was destroyed completely.

Rescue officials reached the spot. The deceased and the injured were shifted the injured to the nearby hospital.

Investigators said that the incident occurred due to a faulty and substandard quality cylinder.

The most common cause of gas explosions is the use of faulty cylinders by vehicle owners and low checks by the relevant transport authorities.
