Lahore: A prisoner in camp jail Lahore tested positive with Coronavirus, GNN reported.
According to details, prisoner Abid returned from Italy last month and was arrested this month in a drug case. 
Jail authorities said that Abid was shifted to jail in the first week of the month.
As per details, the prisoner complained about suffering from fever on March 18. while he was tested for the virus on March 21. Last night, he was confirmed with Coronavirus afyter which he was shifted to hospital. Prisoner Abid returned from Italy last month, was arrested in a drug case.
It is pertinent to remember that total number of coronavirus cases surged to 887 in Pakistan Tuesday morning with six deaths.
The number of confirmed cases rose to 887 after Punjab reported three new cases in the province today.
Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar confirmed that there are 176 confirmed cases of the virus in Dera Ghazi Khan, 51 in Lahore, five in Gujrat, six in Gujranwala, three in Jhelum, two each in Rawalpindi and Multan and one case each in Faisalabad, Mandi Bahauddin, Rahim Yar Khan and Sargodha.
The chief minister also urged citizens to stay indoors and help in containing the virus as the province begins a 14-day lockdown.
The confirmed cases across the country include fifteen cases in Islamabad, 246 in Punjab, 394 in Sindh, 38 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 110 in Balochistan, 80 in Gilgit Baltistan, and one case in Azad Kashmir.
