Donated corneas restore eyesight of five blind people in Lahore
Lahore: Five blind people regained their vision after successful cornea transplantation held at Mayo Hospital in Lahore, GNN reported on Friday.

Corneas, which were transplanted into the visually impaired people, were donated by a foreign country. After successful surgery by Pakistan ophthalmologists, all patients are in well condition.

The transplantation was supervised by eye ward head, Professor Asad Aslam.  The surgeon said that latest technology was used in this critical surgery.
