Another artist files lawsuit against Ali Zafar over harassment
Leena Ghani, who is an artist by profession, has moved the Sindh High Court (SHC) against Ali Zafar. The court has issued notices to the singer for January 25.
The plaintiff claimed that Ali Zafar had first harassed her in 2014 during a fashion show in London, adding that the same year the Teefa in Trouble actor spoke to her in indecent ways.
She went on to say that Zafar had also offered her work in a big firm in July 2014 but she denied it.
In the petition, she said that singer Meesha and actor Saba Qamar had also accused Ali Zafar of harassment.
She further said that Ali Zafar also made tweets accusing her of running a campaign against him on social media. Leena said that such allegations have damaged her reputation.
She has pleaded the court to bar Ali Zafar from publishing content on social media and TV channels.
The petitioner has also distanced herself from Meesha Shafi.
After hearing the arguments, the SHC has issued notices to Ali Zafar through a sessions judge in Lahore.
