Kumail Nanjiani in talks for Marvel’s ‘The Eternals’
Pakistan origin Hollywood star Kumail Nanjiani is being considered for ‘The Eternals’, a phase four film from Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The Eternals will focus on a group of ancient human beings. The film will be directed by Chloe Zhao, with Matthew and Ryan Firpo penning the script. Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige is expected to produce the movie.
 
Created by comic legend Jack Kirby in 1976, the Eternals are a race of ancient human beings created a million years ago by the cosmic entities known as the Celestials.
 
According to multiple news outlets, Hollywood A Lister Angelina Jolie has been roped in to star in the lead role.
 

Nanjiani recently earned an Oscar nomination for co-writing “The Big Sick” with wife Emily Gordon. Nanjiani will next be seen in Sony’s “Men in Black: International,” which is set to be released on June 14, and action comedy “Stuber,” which will open on July 12.
