The Lighthouse receives positive early reviews
Studio A24 is set to release The Lighthouse next month, a film starring newly cast Batman, Robert Pattinson and Hollywood legend, Willam Dafoe.

The studio has already been associated with some of the best films to come out in recent years including The Witch, Midsommar, Hereditary, The Florida Project and Moonlight.

Director Robert Eggers has also directed The Witch and seemed excited to see how his new project had come through. He spoke about what filming was like amidst tough conditions.

“We like to talk about how miserable the movie was to make. And it truly was, but I had fun every day. I did, I had fun every day. It was cold and rainy and shitty and tough,”

The movie follows two lighthouse keepers, Pattinson and Dafoe, as they descend into madness. The two man film is shot in black white to add a layer of eeriness to the already bleak tone of the film.

The film releases on the 18th of October in the United States.
