Earthquake jolts parts of Islamabad, KPK
Peshawar: An earthquake has jolted parts of Islamabad, KPK and adjoining areas on Wednesday afternoon.

The tremors spread panic amongst locals, although no loss of life and property was reported from any area.

According to Pakistan Meteorological Department, the intensity of earthquake was 5.2 on Richter scale while its epicenter was Hindu Kush region in Afghanistan. 

The depth of earthquake was 180 kilometers.

Tremors were also felt in KPK’s capital Peshawar, Sawat, Chitral, Lower Dir, Malakand, Khal, Wari Tehsil and other settlements nearby.
