Had told earlier, Nawaz Sharif would go abroad for treatment: Rasheed
Lahore: Railway Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed has said that he had told earlier that Nawaz Sharif would go abroad for treatment.

Speaking on the issue of former premier’s health, he said,

“I told long ago that Nawaz Sharif will go abroad for treatment. An air ambulance in Qatar is ready for many days,” he said.

The railway minister added that government has no role in it.

“There is nothing new in this news. I have been saying this for over two months now that he will go abroad. Only the courts and doctors have a role in it, government is just watching,” he said adding that judicial decisions cannot be wrong.

Sheikh Rasheed further said that another air ambulance is ready in Dubai and they can leave by it if they have to.

Earlier today, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Maryam Nawaz said that former premier Nawaz Sharif should go abroad for his treatment at earliest.

While talking to media outside Lahore’s accountability court, Maryam stated that Nawaz Sharif’s health condition is deteriorating rapidly and should be sent abroad for treatment.

She added that the former premier must travel to wherever he can get the treatment.

She added that she has been looking into her father’s health matters personally, and it was very difficult for her to come to court today.
