COAS expresses sorrow over deaths due to heavy snowfall in AJK and Baluchistan
Rawalpindi: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Tuesday expressed sadness over dozens of death in Azad and Jammu Kashmir (AJK) and Baluchistan due to heavy snowfall.

According to the Inter Services Public Relation (ISPR), COAS Bajwa offered condolences to the families of the victims. He instructed that aid be provided to civil administration in rescue and relief operation.

Meanwhile, army’s’ helicopters took part in rescue activities at Sharda, Sergan, Bakwal and Turbat.
“Rescue and search teams of PAK army are also busy in rescue operations”, ISPR stated.

ISPR said that doctors and paramedical staff of Pakistan army are also busy in providing treatment to the victims, adding that cloths, shelters, medicine and rations have been distributed among the affected families.
