Our stance on Kashmir same as yours, says Turkish President
Islamabad: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has said that his stance on Kashmir is same as Pakistan’s.

While addressing the joint session of the Pakistan Parliament, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said that he was grateful for the warm welcome he received on his arrival in Islamabad yesterday.

“I want to thank Pakistan for inviting me to address its parliament. I am truly grateful to all Pakistanis for warmly welcoming us in Islamabad. I feel like I am home whenever I visit Pakistan. I want to thank Allah for uniting the leadership of Pakistan and Turkey,” he said.

He further said that the relations between Pakistan and Turkey are exemplary.

“We cannot forget the contribution and sacrifices of Muslims in the independence movement of Turkey. It is an honor for me to address you all today. The relations between these two countries will continue to flourish till end of times.”

He further said that he has arrived in Pakistan with huge investment opportunities.

“I have huge investment opportunities for Pakistan that would help uplifting the economy further. Economic stability is not achieved in days but you have to work hard for years to attain it. Erdogan also commended Pakistan’s efforts to root out terrorism and extremism.

“We will continue supporting Pakistan in fighting terrorism.”
