PM’s fiery statements a tactic to divert attention from governance woes: Imran Yaqoob
Lahore: Prime Minister Imran Khan wanted to divert public attention from bad governance and poor management through his fiery statements against opposition, said senior journalist Imran Yaqoob.

Talking on GNN’s show ‘View Point’ he said that the prime minister did not name the mafias but started calling for invoking Article 6 of the constitution against opposition when they highlight the wrongdoings.

He added that the premier wanted to conceal his bad governance by taking a jibe against opposition.

The veteran journalist went on to say, “Establishment would not be able to support him if he fails to overcome the governance issues,” adding that the prime minister will have to perform.

He further said that JUI-F Maulana Fazlur Rehman could not be arrested merely on the basis of his speech. He added that Rehman will launch the protest after getting signal for it.
