Do not favour proceedings against Fazl under Article 6: Rasheed
Lahore: Railways Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed has said that he does not favour proceedings against JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman under Article 6.

While addressing a presser in Lahore today, he said that opposition leader Shehbaz Sharif is expected to arrive in March.

“Shehbaz Sharif is expected to come in March. He is my party person and I have sent him a message to enjoy in London. As far as Bilawal Bhutto is concerned, I don’t think he would be arrested as these are his days to enjoy,” he said.

The railways minister further said that he would will with all institutions to take this country forward.

“There are so many hurdles in circular railways but we are working with Sindh government to complete this project. We can meet the deficit of railways if we sell even one building in Karachi,” he said.

He further said that he was his own lawyer after Allah.

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday announced to file a case against Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman under Article 6 (treason) of the Constitution.

 

PM Imran Khan revealed that Maulana has admitted to having an agenda behind unseating the government which is tantamount to conspiring against the State.
