PML-N to provide protective kits to doctors, paramedical staff
Lahore: To facilitate doctors and paramedical staff fighting Coronavirus on frontline, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) will provide ten thousand protective kits.

In an important move to help medical staff, PML-N has received ten thousand protective kits which will be provided to doctors, nurses and paramedical staff dealing with Coronavirus patients.

As per PML-N spokesperson, the kits will be handed over to Punjab Health Alliance during the next 24 hours.

On Tuesday, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and Opposition Leader Shehbaz Sharif had announced that his party would provide ten thousand protective kits to doctors fighting Coronavirus.

“We want to facilitate government in every regard. I believe that all political parties should put politics aside and work for public welfare. We are fighting Coronavirus despite all challenges. I was asked by Nawaz Sharif to return back to Pakistan in view of rising cases of Coronavirus in the country,” he said.

He also urged government to provide free Coronavirus testing service in order to facilitate people.

“People everywhere are suffering due to Coronavirus. I urge our rich community to help less privileged people in these testing time. I also urge you all to help those who need Coronavirus testing but cannot afford it,” he said.

The number of total coronavirus cases rose to 1,102 in Pakistan till Thursday morning while 21 people have recovered from the disease.

The infectious disease has claimed eight lives in Pakistan while five patients are reported to be in critical condition. A woman, who had returned from the United Kingdom, died on Wednesday (March 25) in Sohawa, a tehsil in Jhelum.
