India undoubtedly behind PSX terror attack, says PM
Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday Indian was undoubtedly behind the failed Pakistan Stock Exchange terror attack in which four assailants were eliminated by security officials only in eight minutes of operation.

Addressing National Assembly after approval of the budget, he said that the terrorists had reached the bourse with long planning as they wanted to made people hostage.

He said that the planning of the attack was made in India which wanted to carry out an incident like Mumbai attacks.

He added that security officials however failed the design by sacrificing their lives.

The prime minister paid tribute to a sub-inspector and three security guards who were martyred while thwarting the terror bid in Karachi. He called them heroes of Pakistan.

The primer revealed that agencies of the country were on high alert to tackle any untoward situation. He said that Pakistani forces are fully prepared.

Talking about budget for fiscal year, the prime minister thanked his team over approval of the Finance Bill 2020 on Monday.

All speculations regarding the approval of the budget have died after it sailed through the lower house of the parliament.

He said that coronavirus pandemic caused huge financial losses, adding that no country including Pakistan is able to gauge the economic fallout of the health crisis.

He clarified that the government had not been confused while tackling the pandemic, adding: “Opposition is itself confused”.

Talking about institutions reforms, he said that mafias have overshadowed the state institutions, adding that reforms are indispensible.

He said that Asif Zardari and Nawaz Sharif had established sugar mills to white their black money.

Those who are responsible for busting the mafias have developed links with them, he said, adding that there are mafias in the Pakistan International Airlines.

He said that 11 chief executives of the national carrier were removed in past 10 years and the incumbent chairman of PIA was remained unable to carry out his job due to cases.

 

Imran Khan said that power sector had inflicted huge losses on national kitty, adding that reforms will be introduced in this sector.
