PM to chair federal cabinet meeting today

Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan will chair a meeting of federal cabinet today wherein the country’s current situation will be deliberated upon, GNN reported.

The meeting will be held at the Prime Minister’s office in Islamabad.

Some ministers will participate through video link from the committee room of the cabinet division.

According to details, meeting will discuss 10-point agenda including overall political, economic and security related situation amid coronavirus outbreak across the country.

The cabinet will also be given a detailed briefing on the issue of suspicious pilot licenses.

The cabinet will approve proposed amendments to FATF-related Companies Act 2017 and Limited Partnership Act.

In addition, the Federal Cabinet will also approve the transfer of Sector F12 and Sector G12 land to the Federal Government Employees Housing Authority. The Cabinet will approve the appointment of the appointed Executive of Agro Food Processing Facilities Multan.

A Memorandum of Understanding between NADRA and the International Organization for Migration on RCMC will be signed.

The Cabinet will also approve the appointment of three directors to the Board of Directors of STEDEC, a subsidiary of the Ministry of Science and Technology.

The proposal to allow the services of FBR lawyers without the approval of the Ministry of Law and Justice will be submitted to the Cabinet for approval.

The federal cabinet will ratify the July 2 decision of the privatization committee.
