Rulers must abandon their egos on occasion of Eid, says Bilawal
Karachi: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairperson, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has urged all leaders including those of ruling party to abandon their egos on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.

While extending felicitations to the nation on the occasion of Eid, Bilawal urged everyone to sacrifice their egos.

“Every Muslim must be determined to sacrifice his ego today. We need to work with unity for a greater cause,” he said.

He said that the rulers came to stop corruption but they have stopped pensions instead.

“Government employees and workers will not remain silent on economic injustice. People of Punjab have suffered the most economic abuse in the name of change,” he said.

Bilawal further said that it is time to expose the ‘fake accountability drama’ of the government/

“Despite allegations of corruption, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) is not taking action against Usman Buzdar and other ministers. If political parties did not play their due role, people suffering from inflation would not wait for long,” he said.

Bilawal further advised people to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) on Eid to avoid spread of novel coronavirus.
