Pakistan reports highest coronavirus deaths in four months
Islamabad: Pakistan has reported 59 coronavirus deaths and 2,665 new positive cases in one day.

According to National Command and Control Center (NCOC), around 2,665 cases of coronavirus were reported while 59 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 7,662.

The total number of confirmed cases reached to 374,173.

As many as 329,828 patients have recovered from the disease while more than 1,613 reported to be in critical condition.

Punjab

After sharp increase in the cases, the number of patients swelled to 114,010 in the province. The province reported 2,848 coronavirus causalities.

Sindh

The cases of infection have surged to 162,227 in the province, the most affected region in Pakistan. The death toll has reached to 2,816 in the province.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

The confirmed cases have surged to 44,097 in the province while the death toll has surged to 1,325 in KPK.

Balochistan

There are 16,744 confirmed cases while 161 patients died of the infection so far.

AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan

There are 6,000 coronavirus cases in the AJK while the death toll has reached 140. On the other hand, there are 4,526 cases in GB with 94 coronavirus deaths.

IslamabadThere are 26,569 cases in the capital city while 278 people have lost their lives.
