"Opposition wants to slaughter an entire cow for its 2kg meat": Fawad reacts to PDM rally
Taking to twitter, the minister wrote that the opposition wants to sacrifice the entire cow for its 2kg meat.
"Fools,” said Fawad addressing PDM leadership, “If coronavirus continues to spread and people's lives are at risk, what is the purpose of your politics then?"
The federal minister further stated that politics and power are connected with people's lives and advised opposition to hold virtual rallies.
On the other hand, the opposition’s Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) is all set to hold a rally in Khyber Pakhtunkahwa’s capital, despite threat of legal action by provincial government.
All arrangements are completed on Kabotar Chowk near Dilazak Road where leadership of PDM will address participants of rally.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has refused to allow opposition to hold rally in Peshawar due to surge in Covid-19 cases.
The district administration has also issued a notification in this regard, stating that all sorts of ceremonies and public gatherings are banned as coronavirus positivity rate in Peshawar is more than 13%.
