Country may go into complete lockdown; PDM will be responsible for consequences: PM
Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that Pakistan may go into a complete lockdown if coronavirus cases continue to increase across the country blaming Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) for the consequences.

Taking to twitter, PM wrote that there has been an increase in Covid-19 patients on ventilators in last 15 days, as country experiences second wave of coronavirus.

PM added that most countries have gone to complete lockdown following second spike and Pakistan will go down the same path if PDM continued rallies deliberately endangering people’s lives.

Imran Khan said that he will not grant National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) to opposition even if they hold a million rallies.

PM added that he doesn’t want to make decision like lockdown that will start hurting Pakistan’s economy.

“Unfortunately, the Opposition's only goal is NRO at whatever cost to the lives of people & the country's economy,” he said.

On the other hand, the opposition’s Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) is all set to hold a rally in Khyber Pakhtunkahwa’s capital, despite threat of legal action by provincial government.
