NAB files graft reference against Saleem Mandviwala

Mandviwala, who has been lashing out at the anti-graft buster for alleged human rights violations, has been accused of facilitating Aijaz Haroon, former managing director of PIA, in selling government land to Abdul Ghani Majeed, who is son of Omni Group chief Anwar Majeed.
In the reference, Nadeem Mandviwala, Aijaz Haroon and alleged benamidar Tariq Mahmood have als been nominated.
NAB claims that Haroon received hefty amounts in return of allotments through fake bank accounts.
It added that Senator Mandviwalla purchased shares of Mangla View Company, using the name of his frontman Taiq Mahmood, after selling the government plots illegally.
According to NAB, Saleem Mandviwala and Haroo received Rs140 million from fake bank accounts.
Aijaz Haroon is already in NAB custody over accusations in illegal land allotments.
