Broadsheet found nothing against Nawaz Sharif: Khaqan
Karachi: Former Prime Minister and senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that Broadsheet found nothing against party supremo Nawaz Sharif.

While talking to media, Shahid Khaqan said that those who plundered national wealth have been granted National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO).

“Those who looted country’s money have been given free hand, while those against whom no proofs of corruption have been found are being dragged in courts by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB). There is no one to question the anti-corruption watchdog,” he said.

The former premier further stated that NAB is used as a tool to pressurize politicians.

“Who gave NAB the authority to handover public money of Rs. 7 billion to a company? NAB prosecutes a three time prime minister and there is no one to question this institution,” he said.

The PML-N leader said that apex court has already declared in its decisions that NAB is committing political engineering.

“Why is British Court’s verdict not being made public? Supreme Court (SC) should take suo motu notice over the matter,” he said.

Shahid Khaqan Abbasi further said that Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) is struggling to provide relief to masses.

“The country will develop only when it is run according to the constitution,” he added.
