PMD predicts heavy rains with lightning in Karachi
Karachi: Pakistan Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains with lightning in Karachi from Wednesday (today) till Saturday.

According to details, heavy rain will lash out different parts of the metropolis today, the spell likely to continue till Saturday.

The Met office has said the mercury will drop down to 4 to 6 degrees in the city after the rain.

PMD further said no heat waves are expected in coming days of Ramadan in the coastal city and the weather in the metropolis will remain pleasant till the rest of Ramadan.

The weather department further said dust-thunderstorm and rain is expected at scattered places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Islamabad, Balochistan, Upper Sindh, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir from Wednesday to Saturday.

Yesterday, rain with dust-thunderstorm reported at scattered places in Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Malakand, Hazara divisions, Islamabad and Kashmir, while at isolated places in Faisalabad, Sargodha, Sahiwal, Bahawalpur, D.G Khan, Makran divisions and Gilgit Baltistan. Weahter remained hot and dry elsewhere in the country.
