Assets case - Aleem Khan granted bail by LHC
Lahore: Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday granted bail to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Aleem Khan in disproportionate assets case, GNN News reported.

As per details garnered, LHC directed senior politician to deposit surety bonds worth Rs 1 million.

National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had nabbed Aleem Khan on charges of possessing assets beyond known sources of income. Khan was then sent on a judicial remand.

Soon after his arrest, Aleem Khan tendered resignation to Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Usman Buzdar stating it wasn’t appropriate for him to stay in the office.

The bureau presented its findings in court on Wednesday and, after both sides concluded their arguments, the court announced its verdict.
