5.0-magnitude earthquake jolts Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cities
Swat, Mansehra, Battagram, Peshawar and Muzaffarabad experience the earthquake on an early Wednesday morning.
According to the meteorological department, the depth of earthquake was recorded to be 18 km deep and the epicentre was located in western mountainous ranges 20 km far off Battagram.
As the tremors hit cities, people came out of their houses and offices reciting verses from the Holy Quran.
However, no casualty or property loss was reported from the area.
Earlier, on Feb 2, a moderate 5.8 magnitude earthquake hit different cities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Punjab.
Earthquake tremors were felt in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Mardan, Sargodha, Lower Dir, Swabi, DI Khan and other cities.
