Money laundering case: Faryal Talpur's physical remand extended till July 22
During the hearing today, NAB prosecutor requested the court for extension in Talpur’s physical remand to further interrogate her .
The prosecutor told the court that the bureau could not investigate as Talpur is a member of the Sindh Assembly and has been attending the assembly session on production orders.
Asif Zardari asked the court to excuse her sister Faryal from appearing before the court and instead grant him 90-day remand.
Former President’s request was eventually turned down by the court as judge said it was “impossible”.
The court then extended Faryal Talpur’s physical remand for 14 days, remanding her in NAB’s custody till July 22.
