PM for serving befitting reply to PML-N over campaign against state-institutions
Islamabad: Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has on Monday directed to serve ‘befitting reply’ to Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) over latter’s onslaught on state-institutions.

Presiding over a meeting of the spokespersons here in Islamabad, PM expresses grave concerns over PMLN’s attempts aimed at making state-institutions controversial.

“Befitting reply will be served to the tactics deployed by the PML-N”, directed the premier while adding that PML-N had exerted pressure on judiciary in the past too.

“This is Naya [new] Pakistan. These tactics won’t work anymore”, the premier was quoted as saying.

“These gambits of the opposition won’t yield desired outcomes as accountability drive will be taken to its logical end”, PM told spokespersons.

Responding to alleged leaked video of hon’ble judge Arshad Malik, PM opined that government must not become party in the controversy. The premier called upon Supreme judiciary to take notice of the incident.

On Saturday, Maryam Nawaz stirred controversy by releasing an alleged video of accountability court’s judge Arshad Malik in which latter allegedly confessed that verdict in graft cases pertaining to ousted premier Nawaz Sharif was not given on merit.
