5.5-magnitude earthquake jolts parts of KP, Murree
Karachi: A strong earthquake of 5.5-magnitude shook parts of Khyber Paktunkhwa on Saturday, GNN reported.

According to details, the tremors were felt in Swat, Malakand, Mardan, Abbottabad, Swabi , Lower Dir, Buner and Shangla in Khyber Paktunkhwa .

The quake also shoot Murree and adjacent areas creating panic among citizens. People came out of their homes in panic and started reciting verses from the Holy Quran.

No loss of life and property was reported from any area of the country due to earthquake.

According to National Seismic Monitoring Centre, Islamabad, the epicenter of the quake was located near Afghan-Tajkistan border.

Earlier today, a 4.5-magnitude earthquake jolted the areas of Khyber Paktunkhwa.
