CM Buzdar announces 60-day remission in sentences for convicted prisoners
Bahawalpur: Chief Minister of Punjab, Sardar Usman Buzdar, has announced a special 60- day remission in the sentences of convicted prisoners.
The concession was given to mark the auspicious occasion of Eidul Azha.
Talking to the media in Bahawalpur, Usman Buzdar said that he had celebrated Eid by having lunch with the inmates of the Central Jail.
He promised to revive the South Punjab Secretariat in Bahawalpur. He also said that Punjab Government plans to build eight hospitals in the province.
The Chief Minister expressed solidarity with the people of Indian occupied Kashmir. "We stand by the people of Kashmir as we have done in the past and will continue to do so in the future.
