Islamabad: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi says Prime Minister Imran Khan and US President Donald Trump have discussed the evolving situation in Kashmir after India's unilateral decision to change special status of Occupied Kashmir.

Islamabad: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that Prime Minister Imran Khan and US President Donald Trump have discussed the evolving situation in Kashmir after India's unilateral decision to change special status of Occupied Kashmir.

Addressing a presser on Monday night, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said in a telephonic call Prime Minister apprised Donald Trump that Indian unilateral decision was aimed at changing special status of the internationally recognized disputed territory and its demography.

Prime Minister informed the USA President about the situation emitted out after Indian action in occupied Kashmir scrapping special status of Kashmir by revoking article 370 of the Indian constitution.

The premier informed the American President that Modi decision in occupied Kashmir has created a grave situation in the region which Pakistan wanted to reduce the tension.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that Imran Khan informed Donald Trump that Modi has an intention to convert a majority into a minority through his action in Kashmir.
