2nd T20I - Smith brilliance steers Australia to 7-wicket victory over Pakistan
Canberra: Smith’s brilliance on Tuesday steered Australia to 7 wickets victory over Pakistan as Kangaroos took 1-0 lead in the three-match T20I series, GNN reported.

Batting first, Pakistan managed only 150 runs on a batting friendly wicket. Pakistani Captain Babar Azam has played outstandingly with 50 runs in just 38 balls, including six fours. Iftikhar Ahmed (not out) has also played remarkably well with 62 runs in 34 balls, including five fours and three sixes.

Australia were never in the trouble whilst chasing the target. Though, Warner departed early but this didn’t stop Aussies. Finch and Smith hit Pakistani bowlers all over the ground.

Finch departed on the individual score of 17 runs while Smith remained unbeaten on 80 runs.

Irfan, Imad and Amir took one wicket apiece.

The last match of the three-match T20I series will be played on Friday.
