MCC team led by Kumar Sangakkara arrives in Lahore
Lahore: A team of Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) led by former Sri Lankan cricketer Kumar Sangakkara has arrived in Lahore.

According to details, a team of Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) has arrived in Pakistan after 48 years on a seven-day tour.

Reportedly, the team will hold a practice session in Qaddafi Stadium Lahore.

The captain of team, Kumar Sangakkara will also hold a press conference along with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chief Executive Waseem Khan.

 

It should be noted that Kumar Sangakkara is visiting Pakistan after a gap of eleven years. He was part of Sri Lankan cricket squad that was a victim of terrorist attack in Lahore in 2009.

The team of MCC will play three T20 and single one-day match.

One-day match between Pakistan Shaheens and MCC team is scheduled on February 16 at Aitcheson College Lahore.

The T20 matches will be played on February 17 and 19 at the same venue.
