Yasir Shah becomes fastest bowler to reach 200 Test wickets
Abu Dhabi: Leg-spinner Yasir Shah became the fastest bowler to take 200 Test wickets in his 33rd Test after breaking an 82 years old record.

Previously, the record was set 82 years ago by Australian legspinner Clarrie Grimmett in his 36 Tests.

Azhar Ali and Asad Shafiq hit centuries to leave Pakistan in command of the third and final Test against New Zealand in Abu Dhabi despite a batting collapse that curtailed their first-innings lead.

Earlier, New Zealand started day four of the third and final Test against Pakistan in Abu Dhabi on Thursday.

Azhar Ali and Asad Shafiq helped Pakistan to chase New Zealand’s total of 274 but a lower-order collapse restricted their lead to 74 on day three in Abu Dhabi.

Pakistan regained control of the match by picking up two quick New Zealand wickets to leave them in trouble.
