China condemns Pakistan Stock Exchange attack
“We firmly oppose any form of terrorism and firmly support Pakistan’s efforts in combating terrorism and upholding national security and stability,” Chinese Foreign Ministry’s Spokesperson Zhao Lijian said during his regular briefing.
He also extended condolences to those injured and families of the victims, adding, “We condemn all forms of terrorist attacks and we also mourn the victims of this incident.”
On Monday morning, four terrorists tried to storm into the PSX building and threw grenades at the compound's entrance. The terrorists then opened fire and attempted to enter the compound but were killed by security forces.
During the action, one sub-inspector and three security guards embraced martyrdom.
