Schedule of special trains from Karachi on Eid-ul-Fitr released
The first special train will consist of 17 coaches, with a capacity of 1046 passengers.
Karachi: Pakistan Railways will run two special trains from Karachi on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr for the convenience of the public.
According to Pakistan Railways, the first train from Karachi will leave for Peshawar on April 7 at 6:00pm to celebrate in Eid with their loved ones.
The main stops of this train are Hyderabad, Tando Adam, Nawabshah, Rohri, Khanpur, Bahawalpur, Multan Cantt, Khanewal, Shorkot Cantt, Toba Tek Singh, Gojra, Faisalabad, Sangla Hill, Hafizabad, Wazirabad, Lala Musa, Jhelum, Rawalpindi, Taxila Cantt, Attock City, Nowshera and Peshawar City stations are included.
The special train will reach Peshawar Cantt on April 8 at 1:15am.
Pakistan Railways will run the second special train between Karachi and Lahore on April 8 at 8:15pm.
After the train departs from Karachi Cantt Station will stop at Landhi, Hyderabad, Tando Adam, Nawab Shah, Rohri, Sadiqabad, Rahim Yar Khan, Khanpur, Bahawalpur, Multan Cantt, Khanewal, Mian Chanu, Chicha Watni, Sahiwal, Yusufwala, Okara, Patoki, Raiwand and Kot Lakhpat stations and will reach Lahore at around 6:00pm on April 9.
According to the details released, the first special train will consist of 17 coaches, with a capacity of 1046 passengers.
The second Eid-ul-Fitr special train will consist of 18 coaches including two business and two standard class coaches.
