Malik Ahmed Khan says the government has not released payments to PASSCO
Lahore: The Sunni Ittehad Council's (SIC) leader Malik Ahmed Khan Bhachar on Tuesday said that the farmers are economically down nowadays and the 'Tik Toker' government has completely failed to ensure support price for wheat.
Talking to the media outside the Punjab Assembly, Khan said that the government still didn't give any policy on the burning issue of wheat. "The form-47’s Tik Toker is Punjab chief minister Maryam Nawaz."
The opposition leader said that the farmers are also being apprehended following the arrests of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders and activists, adding it been two days now that the police are now behind the farmers.
The wheat stocks are being ruined because of the poor policy of the incumbent government, but the police are raiding the houses of farmers, Khan added.
He claimed that the prime minister lied about the wheat matter as the government has not released payments to the Pakistan Agricultural Storage & Services Corporation Limited (PASSCO).
