Former Skipper Quinton De Kock withdraws from team after CSA directive on taking the knee for Black Lives Matter.
According to details, Quinton de Kock pulled out of South Africa's T20 World Cup match against West Indies in Dubai on Tuesday in the wake of CSA's board saying they had "unanimously agreed to issue a directive" that all players should take a knee before matches.
In the press release, the board - De Kock's employers - disagreed: "Concerns were raised that the different postures taken by team members in support of the BLM [Black Lives Matter] initiative created an unintended perception of disparity or lack of support for the initiative.

Quinton de Kock is a South African cricketer and former captain of the Proteas in all three formats. Playing for the Titans at the domestic level, Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League, and South Africa at the international level. He was named the Cricketer of the Year at Cricket South Africa's 2017 Annual Awards.
