Peshawar: A video clip of all-rounder and former Pakistan Captain Shahid Afridi getting makeup done by his youngest daughter Urwa Afridi went viral on the social media on Saturday.
The little daughter of the cricket legend is seen applying lipstick and blush to her father.
In the viral video, Shahid Afridi is seen lying down and conversing with his daughter.
The former captain addresses his daughter, saying, “You have applied lipstick on me; now what are you applying?" To which his daughter, holding a blush brush, replies, “I am applying blush on you,”.
In the video, Urwa can be seen applying blush on her father's beard, forehead, and cheeks. She also tells her father, “Daddy, I'll be upset if you wash your face,”.
In the viral video, his daughter innocently says, “I'm applying this so you can scare everyone,”.

To which Afridi asks, “Why do you want me to scare everyone?” The daughter responds, “I want you to look like a princess,” to which Afridi replies, “You are my princess.”
The video went viral on social media, where Shahid Afridi's fans could be seen enjoying the video in the comments.

PM, Punjab Governor discuss country’s political situation
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif extends congratulations to the Punjab Governor on assuming office and conveys best wishes for his tenure
Islamabad: Punjab Governor Sardar Salim Haider called on Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif in Lahore on Saturday.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister extended congratulations to the Punjab Governor on assuming office and conveyed best wishes for his tenure.
They discussed various matters pertaining to Punjab, and overall national and political situation of the country.
Earlier in the day, Balochistan Governor, Jafar Khan Mandokhel, called on Punjab Governor , Sardar Saleem Haider Khan at Governor House Lahore.
Governor Punjab welcomed his counterpart at Governor House Lahore and congratulated him on assuming the office. Various issues including issues of mutual interest and the overall situation of the country were discussed in the meeting.
Speaking on this occasion, Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan said that strengthening the coalition government is very important for the stability of the country. He said that Pakistan People's Party is all out for excellent working relationship wit PML (N) in the larger interest of country.
Governor Punjab said that all the parties including the opposition should be on the same page for the development and stability of the country. Governor Panjab said that it is very encouraging that the country's economic indicators are improving. He added that he would play a positive role in improving the relationship between the federation and the province.
Governor Balochistan Jafar Khan Mandikhel said that the development and law and order of Balochistan province are priority.

PM directs Amir Muqam to leave for Kyrgyzstan immediately

Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday directed Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan, and SAFRON Engineer Amir Muqam, to promptly travel to the Kyrgyz Republic following the mob violence in Bishkek.
Engineer Amir Muqam is scheduled to depart for Bishkek tonight to oversee the rescue efforts for Pakistani students in Kyrgyz Republic and to extend them support and assistance.
He would hold meetings with Pakistani students, address their concerns, and ensure their well-being amidst the ongoing situation.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, expressing deep concern over the violence targeting foreign students in Kyrgyz Republic, emphasized that the Pakistani Embassy in Bishkek must ensure the provision of optimal medical care for injured Pakistani students.
He also stressed that government officials should facilitate the immediate return of those students who wish to return to Pakistan, covering the expenses.
Shehbaz Sharif said the Pakistan's Embassy should provide every possible support for maintaining constant communication between students and their families.
