Islamabad: The government on Thursday has decided to constitute a special team of prosecutors on the issue of “lost” US cypher, which was allegedly “lost” by PTI chief Imran Khan.

As per details, the three-member team would consist of Advocate Shah Khawar, Rizwan Abbasi and Zulfiqar Naqvi.

They also revealed that the interior ministry had already sent a report to the law ministry in this regard.

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) had suggested the team's formation, according to the sources.

The PTI chairman Imran Khan, was questioned by the FIA on Wednesday in Attock Prison in relation to an alleged missing diplomatic cable.

Moreover, Although the former prime minister had a secret diplomatic cable in his possession and had made it public, the FIA had accelerated the legal process against him.
