Top Saudi delegation to visit Islamabad after Eid-ul-Fitr
Islamabad: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that a Saudi delegation will visit Islamabad after Eid-ul-Fitr to discuss the upcoming visit of Saudi Crown Prince and Foreign Minister to Pakistan.
While addressing a news conference in Multan on Wednesday, the minister termed the visit of Prime Minister Imran Khan to Saudi Arabia as highly productive.
The Foreign Minister further stated that Prime Minister Imran Khan and Saudi Crown Prince signed an agreement under which Saudi-Pakistani Supreme Coordination Council will be established that will provide an institutionalized and structured platform to boost relations between the two countries.
"We have decided to move forward in all fields, especially energy collaboration, economic relations, investments and job opportunities," he added.
He further added Saudi Arabia has decided to give $500 million to Pakistan for hydropower projects.
Referring to Israeli attacks on Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, the minister stressed the importance of collectively raising a voice against the atrocities through the OIC.
“When we will also speak out together, the impact created will be unmatched,” he remarked.
