OGRA rejects installation of 25,000 domestic meters on natural gas
The OGRA authority said that the new connection will be considered keeping in mind the government policy
Islamabad: Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) Monday rejected the request to install 25,000 domestic meters on natural gas.
According to the details, Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) had requested for 25,000 domestic gas connections fo0r which Rs1.28 billion were demanded.
According to the Sui Southern Gas Company, 25,000 domestic connections are pending due to the federal government's ban, which should be allowed. New meters have not been estimated for the fiscal year 2024-25 due to the government ban.
Sui Southern Gas Company stated that 350 commercial gas meters and 120 industrial connections should be allowed on Re-gasified Liquified Natural Gas (RLNG).
The OGRA authority said that the new connection will be considered keeping in mind the government policy.
