KP CM condemns Swat blast, seeks report

Swat: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has condemned the Swat blast and has sought a report of the incident from the top police officials.

The Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa said that the families of martyred officials will be given full financial support and not left alone.

Ali Amin Gandapur stated that the police have made unprecedented sacrifices to protect the lives and property of the people.

It is pertinent to note that a police mobile was targeted in a remote-control bomb blast on Malam Jabba Road in Swat yesterday.

According to the police, the police van was included in the security convoy of the ambassadors of more than 10 countries. All the ambassadors were safe in the blast.

The police said that there were ambassadors of Russia, Iran, Portugal, Indonesia, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan and Ethiopia in the convoy. After the incident, all the ambassadors left for Islamabad.

According to the police, all the ambassadors were on their way to Malam Jabba after attending the Chamber of Commerce Mingora function.
