'Illegal land transfer': NAB approves fresh inquiry against Shehbaz Sharif
Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz president and Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly Mian Shehbaz Sharif may be landing into hot water as the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) launched another inquiry against him.
Sources told GNN that the national accountability watchdog has launched a fresh inquiry against Shehbaz Sharif over the transfer of state land to the blued-eyed.
The inquiry had been approved by the NAB's executive board, the sources added.
The former Punjab chief minister has been accused of transferring government land to the people of his choice in Bahawalpur Satellite Town.
Sources further claimed that Shehbaz "misused" his position as the Punjab Chief Minister and transferred government land.
Former MNA from Bahalwapur Muhammad Baligh-ur-Rehman and the former commissioner Atif will also be facing the inquiry.
