PDM chief sticks to hold anti-inflation march towards Islamabad on March 23
Fazlur Rehman says Pakistan is Nawaz Sharif's country, he must return back
Peshawar: Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has reiterated resolve to hold anti-inflation march towards Islamabad on March 23 on Sunday.
Addressing a press conference on Sunday in Peshawar, the PDM chief announced that the anti-inflation protest on March 23 will bring the Federal government to its end.
Fazlur Rehman said the PDM will hold the march against the government for its failure to rein in inflation. He alleged that the government is responsible for the political and economic woes.
The government has brought inflation, poverty and economic instability to the country. The state bank will go under the custody of IMF while the government will have to take the debts from commercial banks,” he said while criticizing the mini-budget.
“The people rejected the PTI in local body elections, he said adding that the incompetent government destroyed economy. It left the people in lurch, he said adding that people find it difficult to make both ends meet. The public will march against rampant inflation,” the JUI-F chief said.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman further said that Pakistan is Nawaz Sharif’s country, he must return back.
