Legendary actress Roohi Bano passes away
According to Bano's sister, the actor had been on ventilator for the last 10 days and was suffering from kidney failure.
Bano, 67, a well-educated and presidential award-winning actor, had been suffering from schizophrenia. She was said to have gone into a pit of depression after her only son, Ali, was murdered in 2005.
Bano, joined the world of television while she was still studying. She did Master’s degree in Psychology. She is best bets known for her work in during the 1970s and 80s, in dramas such as Qila Kahani, Zard Gulab, Hairat Qadah, Darwaza and Kiran Kahani.
