Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Monday has announced to stage political power at Islamabad’s D-Chowk on March 27, two days before voting on the opposition’s no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan.
According to details, Federal Planning Minister and senior PTI leader Asad Umar made this announcement in a tweet.
Taking to Twitter the minister wrote, “PM Imran Khan has decided to hold a ‘massive’ public gathering at Islamabad’s D-Chowk on March 27. The world will see that the Pakistani nation will stand with their PM for the sovereignty of the country.”

PTI’s additional secretary-general Amir Kayani will monitor the arrangements for March 27 public rally at Islamabad’s D-Chowk, he said.
Earlier today, addressing the overseas Pakistanis convention, Asad Umar said that Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf (PTI) bagged the highest votes in the 2018 elections. PML-Q is the political party of few districts of Punjab.“Prime Minister Imran Khan is the only personality who united the country. After Quaid e Azam and Liaquat Ali Khan the government of Imran Khan is the only one in which all institutions are working collectively,” he added.
Asad Umar said that previous governments used institutions for their own benefits. “Pakistan is the only country which has been founded on the name of Islam. Our government does not want to ruin relations with any other country. Prime Minister Imran Khan will make a decision which is the requirement of the nation,” he maintained.
The minister said that the government took steps for overseas Pakistanis. “At this time Pakistan is facing internal and external difficulties. “Bill Gates wrote a letter to me after returning to his country that Pakistan has proved that they can face any difficulty together. Unity is important for success,” he concluded.
